Description
The reason for developing the Pessoa rein was the fact that conventional side reins begin at the girth and thus could not influence the hindquarters. Yet it is precisely the hindquarter musculature that needs targeted training. Furthermore, for professional work with the horse it is important to have the option of bringing about and training both a forward-downward outline and elevation of the horse. Thanks to its construction the system ensures excellent training of the horse in a balanced outline.
